There are several prominent business networking organizations that create models of networking activity that, when followed, allow the business person to build new business relationship and generate business opportunities at the same time.

Not only can a business get business from the others in the networking group, but the business clients also benefit from the networking power of the networking group. For example, if business X has a client that needs widgets and business Y in the same networking group sells widgets, then business X's client benefits directly from the networking.
